Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Stumped ("we", "our", "the app") is a cricket scoring application. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what control you have over your data. Stumped is designed to work offline your cricket data is yours and stays on your device unless you choose to create an account.

2. Information we collect

When you use Stumped without an account, we collect nothing. All data (matches, teams, players, scores) is stored only on your device and never transmitted anywhere.

If you create an optional account, we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Cricket data you choose to back up (matches, teams, players, scores)
• Device information for security purposes (device model, operating system version, a unique device identifier)
• App version and usage patterns (anonymous, aggregated only)

3. How we use your information

• To provide and improve the app's features
• To back up and sync your cricket data across devices (only if you create an account)
• To detect and prevent abuse, pirated copies, or policy violations
• To send you important updates about your account (optional)

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising profiling. We do not share your data with third parties except as described below.

4. Data storage

Without an account: all data is stored locally on your device. We have no access to it.

With an account: your data is stored securely in the cloud using Supabase (supabase.com), a third-party database provider with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit.

5. Third-party services

Stumped uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob displays ads to free-tier users. See Google's privacy policy for details on ad personalization.
• RevenueCat manages in-app subscriptions on iOS and Android.
• Supabase cloud database and authentication provider (only if you create an account).
• Expo push notification delivery infrastructure.

6. Your rights

Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to:

• Access all data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your cricket data at any time
• Opt out of personalised ads through your device settings

To delete your account and data: open Stumped → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all cloud data within 30 days.

7. Children

Stumped is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of Stumped after changes constitutes acceptance.
